Many new things are in preparation, such as new versions of rpm, or gcc, hopefully without too much breakage ( but I hope at least some problems, otherwise, cooker would not be fun enough ). ___________________________________ * New version of rpm, spring cleaning Olivier Thauvin announced he was working on a new version of rpm ( 4.4.1 ), and he want to do some cleaning in the spec, his mail details the whole process [1]. Among other changes, the configuration will be split in a separate package, to ease changes, and libraries will be split from the main package [2]. He also planned to merge spec-helper with rpm-mandriva-setup [3].
