We tried to exactly respect
Dr. Dominique Deserable's
theory (which he designed as a granular media Ph. D. physicist), and this theory
is responsible for the behavior of the phases in our simulation program.
Let's show the flow of sand in a silo. Here is a simple silo, filled with sand (colored in layers to show the movement), and closed by a special border at the bottom, which lets air (shown in blue) coming in. A large network is used to get as close as possible to realistic results.
