Adopt and integrate EDOS efforts

Manbo labs Mandriva & Turbolinux partnership on base, aiming for sharing costs of LSB certification and lowering maintenance efforts on distro core.. Attract their participation would be a nice thing, if nothing else, cooperate on other parts of distro Manbo partnership doesn't cover sounds like something that should be doable..
Componentized linux dead, but similar iniative, might be some info of interest on these archived pages..

Profile-directed optimizations could be an interesting thing to make use of. Implementing support in rpm and integrate it to distro sounds interesting. :)
repsys would be nice to use for our repository system..
